Colby Rowe, MS, NREMT-P, FP-C, is the SHTM Paramedic Program Certified Instructor Coordinator at S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook School of Health Technology & Management, a Certified Instructor Coordinator at Suffolk County Department of Health Services, EMS Division, and adjunct Instructor at Suffolk County Community College, Health Careers in New York. He also serves as an Instructor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook School of Medicine Dept. of Emergency Medicine, a lecturer of Health Sciences at S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook School of Health Technology & Management.

In addition to these positions, Mr. Rowe serves as flight paramedic certification exam review course coordinator and faculty at the Stony Brook University Medical Center Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support training centers, as well as Northeast Regional Director for The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™.

He is a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, and International Association of Flight Paramedics. He is the co-chair of the Stony Brook Medical Center Graduate Medical Education Recruitment, Orientation, Activities, and Retention Subcommittee (ROAR).

Mr. Rowe is also an EMS author and lecturer, leadership award winner, and recipient of the Lifelong Learning Initiative (AAMA): Interprofessional Patient Safety/Quality Care Team-Based Learning Simulation Activity.
